Description

Oakland Motor Car Company Box This is a well-used wood Oakland Motor Car Company parts box or tool box. ‘OAKLAND MOTOR CAR CO’ is faintly stenciled on both sides. It measures 18 in. long by 8 in. wide by 4 in. deep. Comes with the original dirt and grease and oil stains. Damage to the bottom edge of one side. A must for the Oakland car owner, and would make a nice addition to a vintage automobile garage display. From Wikipedia: The Oakland Motor Car Company of Pontiac, Michigan, was an American automobile manufacturer and division of General Motors. Purchased by General Motors in 1909, the company continued to produce modestly priced automobiles until 1931 when the brand was dropped in favor of the division's Pontiac make.
